Our programs, including the Maritime Program and Maritime Club, focus on environmental awareness and provide essential job training. We offer skills training in Scuba Diving and other activities, ensuring post-graduation support for our students as they embark on their maritime careers.

Texas Coastal Academy Programs

  • Skills-Based Training Initiative

    A hands-on, skills-focused training initiative providing students with maritime industry readiness, including scuba certification and aligned job skills.

Career Support and Assistance

  • Transitioning from earning high school student money to adult salaries can be confusing. Texas Coastal Academy offers valuable post graduation support, including job training and skills training through its Maritime Program and Maritime Club. This nonprofit focuses on education and community support, while also promoting environmental awareness through activities like Scuba Diving.

  • Being on a boat for one or two weeks at a time can be a tough transition. It can feel very solitary, especially when individuals hesitate to ask coworkers questions that might make them seem less competent. The Texas Coastal Academy offers valuable education and community support, providing options, advice, and answers to questions students may have about balancing fulfilling careers with home life. Through their Maritime Program and Maritime Club, students gain essential job training and skills training, as well as opportunities for post graduation support and environmental awareness, including activities like Scuba Diving.

  • We bring in students who have started their careers and provide essential education on budgeting, credit cards, and auto loans. Our program also includes options for skills training, investments, and savings, all while fostering community support and environmental awareness through initiatives like the Maritime Club and our nonprofit Maritime Program. Additionally, we offer valuable post graduation support and job training opportunities, including Scuba Diving certifications.

  • Ensuring that students are well-informed about the latest information regarding their industry norms, including pay, procedures, policies, and benefits, is crucial. Texas Coastal Academy facilitates this by regularly meeting with industry leaders to gather insights. This ensures that students receive valuable information that supports their career paths in the Maritime Program. Additionally, through our Maritime Club and community support initiatives, we provide education and job training focused on skills training and environmental awareness. Our commitment extends beyond graduation, offering post-graduation support to help students transition successfully into their careers, including opportunities for Scuba Diving and other related fields.
